Q: What is Health Coaching?
A: Health Coaching is a process where a coach (me) helps a client (you) find out what works to improve their health, well-being, and happiness. Each person is different, so there’s no one “right answer”. It’s a journey beginning where you are now, and through a process of discovery, determining what works best for you. It’s a method of finding your best answers, and learning how to make those answers really work, one choice, one habit, one change at a time until your life is working the way you want it to. The journey is a process – the results are improvements in your health, fitness, relationships, work, and way of thinking that bring you more satisfaction, more options, more joy, more clarity about what matters to you, and a robust life-long sense of well-being.
Q: I’ve been struggling for a long time, can Health Coaching help me?
A: Often people have health issues or real challenges that they’ve worked on for a long time without success. The way health coaching works is you and I look at the problem together and examine all the factors… things like diet, stress, how well you sleep, what products you use, what your health history looks like, and what gets in your way. This holistic approach lets us see the whole picture of how you got to where you are, and what you need to do to get where you want to be. Together, we figure out the best place to start and what approaches will bring you the best success. Most people didn’t get sick in a day, and won’t get well in a day either, but by putting small, successful changes into place, and building on those successes, amazing things are possible! Sometimes we get a big breakthrough too, and things can improve quite quickly, so we always look for breakthrough opportunities!
Q: Are you currently accepting clients?

Q: Is there a particular diet or exercise program you recommend?
A: If the enormous number of diet books that have hit #1 Best Seller tells you anything, it’s that no one program works for every person. People have a great diversity of genetics – and an even greater variety of life circumstances. What’s going to work perfectly for someone else may not work well for you at all. Our task is to discover, together, what best suits your life – what brings you the best results – and what you can actually make work. Personally, I’m finding that a Paleo/Primal/Auto-Immune Protocol program is making a huge difference for me – but that’s me. What will work for you, whether it’s Paleo or Primal, Vegan or Vegetarian, HIT training or hiking, main-stream or out-there or something in-between, is something we will discover together.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: That depends on what you need. I have both short and long programs, private coaching, group coaching, group classes, and several times a year I have short programs like a detox or a 10-day jump-start. Contact me and lets talk about what you need and which program fits you best.
Q: What if I don’t live near by?
A: If you have access to a computer or a telephone, you’re near by! Most of my clients don’t live close to me, and we work using an easy video conference tool like Zoom, or on the phone.
